How does billing work?
Merchants pay their CPA commission through your network, just like any other affiliate. You take your standard network margin and pay out the remainder to RetailerBoost. It flows through your existing billing infrastructure with no changes required.
Does this compete with our existing affiliates?
No. Google Shopping Ads is a separate channel from traditional affiliate traffic (content sites, cashback, voucher codes, etc.). We capture search intent traffic that your affiliates aren't reaching. It's a new CPA-based channel, not a competitor to existing ones.
What CPA rate do you need?
We work within your merchants' existing program terms. The CPA rate needs to give us enough margin to cover our ad spend and generate a return. The exact rate depends on the merchant's product category, average order value, and conversion rate. Higher CPA rates unlock more ad spend from us. We discuss specifics during onboarding.
How do you report conversions?
Merchants use their existing network tracking solution. We apply the correct parameters to our ad clicks so conversions are attributed correctly through your network, just like any other affiliate. All sales appear in your network's reporting and you maintain full visibility through your existing dashboards.
What if a merchant is already working with RetailerBoost directly?
We don't poach merchants. If a merchant is already integrated directly with RetailerBoost, we'll continue that relationship. We won't run duplicate campaigns or try to move them to your network.
For merchants you refer: We'll recommend they use your affiliate network integration for simplicity and speed. Network integration means less setup for them - no need to configure billing with us or install additional tracking. They just grant us access to their Google Merchant Center, and we can get started faster. This makes it easier for everyone.
Why merchants sometimes choose direct integration: Some merchants prefer direct integration if they're not already on an affiliate network, prefer our simpler terms, or want to use our dedicated dashboard. However, when a merchant comes through your network's referral, we will always recommend they integrate via your affiliate network for tracking, analytics, and billing. We do not want to break network terms of service and will actively direct network-referred merchants through the network path.

What if merchants don't have existing Shopping campaigns?
That's fine too. We can run campaigns for merchants who aren't running Shopping ads yet. In those cases, we'll help them get started with Google Shopping, and all the revenue we generate is still incremental - it's revenue they weren't getting before because they weren't running ads at all.
